MC Mong Dropped from TV Shows Over Draft Dodging Charge

Rapper MC Mong, a fixture on many popular shows, will be dropped from all TV programs on terrestrial channels since he is being investigated by police for draft dodging.
Police suspect MC Mong intentionally had some healthy teeth pulled to avoid mandatory military service. A spokesman for SBS on Tuesday said the network decided to cancel his appearances in its programs.
KBS also said he will "temporarily" not be appearing on further programs. A KBS spokesman said, "Although the case is still under investigation, considering public sentiment about the issue and our status as a national broadcaster, we decided to temporarily stop MC Mong from appearing on our TV shows starting Friday".
