WHAT: Mnet America, a youth entertainment brand for all things Asian cool, which includes the only national, English-language lifestyle network in the U.S. for fans of Asian pop culture, premieres "K-Pop Tasty Road" – a series where celebrity K-pop hosts travel across Korea, bringing American K-pop fans a taste of Korea's local ingredients and tastemaker approved hot spots.
 
In each episode, K-pop celebrity hosts, Kim Yun-jee (female solo K-pop singer) and Eli (member of K-pop boy group U-Kiss) will travel to specific places around Korea, forage for the finest and the freshest seasonal ingredients from the region, and prepare special Western and Asian-fusion style dishes. "K-Pop Tasty Road" combines Hallyu and Korean food into one show, spreading knowledge and awareness about Korean food, its diverse cultural spectrum, exotic landscapes, and must-visit shopping and dining spots.
