"Moonshine" is about human love against the backdrop of the most powerful alcohol prohibition period in the Joseon. The drama is about three people who can end each other's lives fatefully encountering in front of a secret liquor warehouse.
Moon You-kang is playing the part of Shim Heon who runs the greatest bootleg liquor organization in Hanyang. He is skilled in sword fighting and is a man of enormous power over the creation and sale of alcohol in the age of prohibition.
Meanwhile, Moon You-kang debuted in 2019 with a theatrical play. He became popular as he continued to appear in more plays.
