Starting this week, dozens of K-Pop groups and singers will dazzle fans at the Yeosu Expo at 8 p.m. every evening.
Organizers say the "Expo Pop Festival" is part of efforts to increase the number of visitors, especially foreign tourists, to the international event.
The number of visitors to the Expo, which opened on May 12th, has fallen far short of expectations.
If the current trend continues, only five million people are expected to visit the Expo during its 93-day run--- only half the original target of 10 million.
Expo organizers say they hope to attract more local visitors, as well as visitors from Japan and China.
The line up for the Expo Pop Festival was announced on Sunday, with some of the biggest names in K-Pop headlining concerts.
On Tuesday, four-member boy band "2AM" will take the stage, followed by SHINee on June 26th.
Girls' Generation, f, and Super Junior are also set to hold concerts at the Expo in the coming weeks.
Organizers specifically designed an outdoor stage to hold the Expo's star-studded performances, for up to 20-thousand fans to enjoy.
