The production team of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "My Dearest" which will air on the 4th, released a still shot of Namkoong Min's first appearance on the 3rd.
"My Dearest" is a drama about the love of lovers and the vitality of the people who are conflicted through the Manchu War.
In the released still, Lee Jang-hyeon (Namkoong Min) is alone on the beach covered in blood. It is impressive to see him struggling to stand up with a long knife on the floor, or running toward somewhere, staring hard. On top of that, the red blood drops splattered not only on the face but also all over the clothes, and the hair scattered outside the knot, make us guess what hardships the character Lee Jang-hyeon suffers during the weathering of the war in the Manchu War.
Nevertheless, the most eye-catching thing is Lee Jang-hyeon's flashing eyes. Lee Jang-hyeon's powerful eyes, shining like a beast, show his strong charisma. Furthermore, it raises questions about why Lee Jang-hyeon is trying to stand up so desperately on the beach and what happened to him.
The production team said, "Lee Jang-hyeon, played by Namkoong Min in the drama, is a male protagonist with extreme charm with intelligence, masculinity, powerful narratives, and narratives that only look at one woman".
Meanwhile, MBC's "My Dearest" will premiere at 9:50 PM on Friday, August 4th.
