According to the broadcasting industry on Wednesday, Nam Ji-hyun has confirmed that she will appear in "The Analects" as her next movie. Kim Jae-young will appear as her counterpart.
"Huh?" is a romantic comedy that combines the philosophy contained in The Analects, the greatest classic of the East, with sexual comedy. The drama tells the story of Yeon-soo, who grew up in a conservative family, meeting a man who sells sex toys, and growing together with him. In the film Nam Ji-hyun plays the main character, Yeon-soo. She has lived up to her fidelity and is an employee of a marketing company. Kim Jae-young plays the CEO of Sex Toy, which creates a new wind in Yeon-soo's life.
Director Kim Ye-ji, who directed JTBC's one-act drama "Drama Festa - Schadenfreude" will hold the megaphone and it will be written by Ahn Sae-bom, who wrote Disney+'s "Soundtrack #1". The production was done by Kakao Entertainment's Gline, and it is coordinating OTT broadcasts in Korea with a total of 12 episodes.
Nam Ji-hyun, who debuted with "Say You Love Me" in 2004, has built up filmography in various genres such as thrillers such as dramas "Shopping King Louis", "Suspicious Partner" and "100 Days My Prince" and fusion historical dramas. In particular, she solidified her position as a box office actor by driving the success of SBS drama "Good Partner" last year.
She also served as the main MC of the first KGMA in 2024, displaying outstanding hosting skills. Currently, she is filming KBS2 drama "My Dear Thief" with Moon Sang-min.
Kim Jae-young, who made his debut as a model in 2011, appeared in the films "Money", "No Breathing", "Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life", and "Reflection of You" and entered his first prime as an actor with a strong performance in the popular drama "The Judge from Hell" which ended last year.
