Girl band 2NE1 released their second full-length album on Thursday. As soon as the songs became available on online music services, the title track "Comeback Home" began topping major music charts online.

Rival band Girls' Generation also released their new album a few days earlier, drawing instant attention.

Now fierce competition is expected between the two groups as they have similar numbers of fans both at home and overseas.
