Synopsis
It's been over ten years since the Sewol ferry disaster. Kim Dong-soo's life, having survived the tragedy, has changed dramatically. A truck driver, Kim Dong-soo lost his daily life along with his truck in the disaster. He guards the Hallasan Trail trail every day, but he's repeatedly admitted and discharged from a psychiatric ward, and suffers from stabbing pains that feel like needles piercing his entire body. Despite this, he continues to run marathons, a past passion, and struggles to regain his senses. His wife, Kim Hyeong-sook, and his two daughters are the ones who sustain him.
The eyes that gazed at him from the Sewol ferry, desperately begging for his rescue, resurface every moment, shaking his heart to the core. Yet, holding the hands of his family, he perseveres.
