Synopsis
A young fisherman disappears. The old captain reports that he fell into the sea. The fisherman's Vietnamese wife collapses in shock, and his fiery mother urges a search. Time passes, but the body is not found.

The villagers are jealous of the wife who will receive the insurance money. The fisherman wanted to escape to his wife's hometown with his mother after receiving the insurance money. The mother's heart, unable to let go of her son, ties him to the sea that she wanted to leave even in death.

The captain, who helped him with good intentions, is starting to get annoyed by everything and decides to end everything with the same temper that ruined his daughter long ago.
