Novelist Han Kang Wins Literary Prize in Spain

Korean writer Han Kang has won Spain's San Clemente literary prize for her novel "The Vegetarian", the winner of the 2016 Man Booker International Prize.

The literary prize was launched at the initiative of a high school in Santiago de Compostela, which is famous for its Camino de Santiago route for Christian pilgrims. The winners are screened and chosen by the school's students.
The award ceremony will be held in the Galician city in March next year.
