[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Jun Ji-hyun Considering Next Work, Including Hong Sisters Drama
By Vasia Orion | Published on
Dramaland rejoice, because Jun Ji-hyun will be coming back next year. Following a false news report on Korean portals, the actress's agency released a clarifying statement, dropping the facts on what was earlier reported as her participation in a currently unnamed drama by Hong Jeong-eun and Hong Mi-ran ("A Korean Odyssey", "Warm and Cozy", "Master's Sun") for tvN.

Her agency stated that the actress is, in fact, considering this piece, but added that she's not at the stage of having specific discussions with the production. It's still up for review among many other projects, and there are no confirmations at the time. They also added that the actress is currently reviewing many films along with dramas, and that she is planning to make her comeback next year, after selecting a good work.
This is a pretty firm 'Nope' on their end, and since even the 'positively considering' type of statements sometimes end in a no go, I would say it's safe to assume that this is nowhere near a done deal. The drama is said to premiere in the first half of 2019, so we will see if this offer sticks. So sit tight, and find comfort in the knowledge that Jun Ji-hyun is ready for new adventures, and will be with us shortly.
