[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Kim Young-ok Reprises Role for "The Most Beautiful Goodbye"

I haven't been looking much into the drama past its teasers and so this information is a very nice surprise for me. News has been released this week contemplating the significance of Kim Young-ok's role in "The Most Beautiful Goodbye", as she is the only cast member from the 1996 original to play the same role of the heroine's mother-in-law, who suffers from dementia.

I wonder what it must feel like to be a younger or more inexperienced actor working with someone on a piece that person knows inside and out and made iconic with their performance over two decades ago. I imagine it's a very humbling experience and one great for personal betterment as well. The things I read about the drama sometimes make me wish it were a full length series, but that is admittedly the force of habit speaking.
As I have not watched the original, I will not be able to compare Kim Young-ok's work and witness her growth, but she is forever a queen of our Dramaland and that's enough for me.
