"Hide and Seek - Drama" explores the fate of the heiress to the nation's largest cosmetics conglomerate, and a woman who had to live that life in her stead, as well as the desires and secrets surrounding the two women. Lee Yu-ri plays Min Chae-rin, the rising star and executive director of the cosmetics company.
The actress has commented on her role, saying that she will be portraying a strong woman who desperately struggles against her unfortunate fate. She wants to bring her own style to a morally complex "cool villain" character who has desires, but who will fight fairly to fulfill them, balancing between good and evil.
Song Chang-eui plays Cha Eun-hyeok, a secretary and driver for Taesan Group. Although his positions are humble, Eun-hyeok is highly skilled, versatile worker who is built for success. He is very intelligent, he has a great personality and a sense of purpose, but he hides his exceptional qualities in favor of an ordinary work life.
Directing the series is PD Sin Yong-hwi ("Cross", "Tunnel - Drama", "Gabdong - The Serial Killer") and writing it is Seol Kyeong-eun of "Iron Lady Cha", "The Women's Room" and "Reversal of Fate". "Hide and Seek - Drama" will follow "My Husband Oh Jak-doo" and "The Goodbye Has Left" on MBC.
