[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Nam Sang-mi Becomes an Amnesiac Heroine in First Stills for "About Her"
By Vasia Orion | Published on
I award "About Her" full cookie points in making its first stills as descriptive of the heroine's plight as possible, as Nam Sang-mi appears lost and dizzy in her amnesiac character. The reasons behind this confusion, as well as the drama's currently reported genre do perk up my interest by a smidgen.

"About Her" is described as a bittersweet mystery melodrama about a woman who has a complete facial reconstruction surgery out of a desperate desire to live, only to wake up with amnesia, not knowing what led her to such an extreme decision. The drama follows her struggle to recover her fragmented memories and reconstruct her past through her new life.
The creators still worry me, as they are mostly experienced in the type of shows I tend to avoid, but perhaps SBS is trying to bring new flavor to familiar weekend concepts, if "Secret Mother" is any indication. I will most likely skip "About Her" regardless, but all interested can look forward to its premiere after the aforementioned "Secret Mother", on July 14th.
