[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Queen of Mystery Season 2" Gets Lovey Dovey in Highlight Reel

Well, this is a thing now! "Queen of Mystery Season 2" has released a 4 and a half minute highlight reel showing us new and exciting adventures for Seol-ok, Wan-seung and co, but also hinting as a little cute romance budding between the two. Has spring finally come for the queen and her tsundere in every aspect of the phrase?

The video has a great balance of mystery, nostalgia, and new faces in new places. Seol-ok (Choi Kang-hee) has become a bolder, more unhinged version of herself, and Wan-seung (Kwon Sang-woo) has become surprisingly a little sweeter. We have beloved OTPs, familiar darlings, cheesy arsonists and the most hilarious and adorable introduction to Kim Won-hae's character; a man who puts napkins on the wet floor to stop a lady from slipping, which pretty much cancels every other man in this story.
The romance is a tricky territory, as I definitely don't want it to ruin the perfect synergy of Seol-ok and Wan-seung as work partners and friends. On the other hand, their relationship has been built as a strong bond in "Queen of Mystery", and a romance therefore doesn't feel forced at all. Plus, they're just so disgustingly sweet together. Hit me with your looove, series!
"Queen of Mystery Season 2" is premiering tomorrow on KBS2 TV. Hold onto your detective hats, because I have a feeling we're in for quite a ride!
