[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Rain Joins "Sketch - Drama"

This was a bit of a long process of yes-no-yes, but singer and actor Rain has accepted the leading role for "Sketch - Drama". The work, which will air on jTBC, is an investigative action drama about the love and fate of people struggling to change their predetermined future.

I have absolutely no clue what this means in terms of story, but that's what we get for now. Maybe this is a drama with a fantasy element and visions of the future involved. Maybe the premise is more along the lines of people fighting against an unfair society. Maybe I have to accept that we may not know for a while.

I may not always enjoy Rain's work choices, but I enjoy Rain himself as an actor enough to look his way when he has a new drama or film coming up, so this is a casting I think could turn out really well. He has experience in a few different genres and he's pretty good with action.

"Sketch - Drama" will be written by Kang Hyeon-seong of "The King's Case Note" and "Hidden Identity". I can't find anything on the PD aside from one news piece naming him, but if their information is correct, the drama will be helmed by Lim Tae-woo of "Yuna's Street" and "The Duo".

"Sketch - Drama" is currently looking for a timeslot somewhere in May or June.
