A casting addition in the works for quite a while has finally been confirmed, and fresh audience darling Seo Ji-hoon will be joining "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" as a potential husband for heroine Moon Chae-won's titular fairy, a 699-year-old creature who is looking for the reincarnation of her husband in the modern age.

Seo Ji-hoon plays Kim Geum, a graduate student and the second husband candidate alongside Yoon Hyun-min's Jeong Yi-hyeon. The actor expressed his excitement to be cast in a work by PD Kim Yoon-cheol, whom he admires. He added "I am very grateful to the director for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I feel pressure having a leading role, but I have been working hard for months in order to deliver the best performance", and asked for the audience's support and anticipation.
Seo Ji-hoon has steadily been working in diverse, interesting roles. Since his debut in drama "Signal", he has been quite busy, and he has also been earning a fandom in the process. In addition to "Signal", I've personally watched him in "Solomon's Perjury", "Prison Playbook" and "Misty", so I'm curious to see what he can do as a lead in the big league.
According to previously released information, the fully pre-produced "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" will be with us later this year, so now we wait for more news on the supporting cast and production.
