[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Song Seung-heon's Conman Introduces Team in Cheeky "The Player" Teaser

Just as I'm getting ready to dismiss "The Player" as a try-hard comedy action series, the latest teaser drops with a hefty, welcome dose of self-awareness. Song Seung-heon's conman introduces his team and their unique skills, but it's the little extra segment at the end that really wins me over.

Our conman hero, if we can call this group that, gives us a rundown of his team, starting with Byeong-min (Lee Si-eon), the team's best hacker. Ah-ryeong (Jung Soo-jung) is the best driver, while Jin-woong (Tae Won-seok) is the fist fairy. I can't get enough of that last description, because I keep imagining him beating people up in a glittery tutu, holding a punishment wand. Last, but not least, our conman introduces himself. "I'm Kang Ha-ri. I'll clean dirty money right up".
Then the post-title segment hits to provide a good giggle I really needed from these promos. Ha-ri's team has had enough of his narcissistic self-indulgence, and keeps urging him to get in, with Jin-woong in particular delivering the killer line "You're cool enough. Get in already". I like you, "The Player". I think we can be friends.
