[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "The Fiery Priest" May Have Found Its PD
By Vasia Orion | Published on
I always take isolated news not shared by a number of portals and publications with a grain of salt, but if this News1 exclusive is accurate, then the upcoming priest-themed crime drama has found its PD in Lee Myeong-woo of "Whisper" and "Punch - Drama" fame.

"The Fiery Priest" tells the story of the titular catholic priest with anger management and other issues, and a detective from the Gudam Police Station who begin to collaborate during a joint investigation into the murder of an elderly priest.
Lee Myeong-woo's participation is pretty great news, if true, and if Kim Nam-gil confirms his participation as the protagonist, then "The Fiery Priest" is already shaping up very nicely in terms of creators and a lead. Writer Park Jae-beom-I ("Good Manager", "Blood") has had his ups and downs, but I'm mostly always on-board for anything he comes up with.
I hope that we get more news on this soon, because it looks like we're one PD, and one solid main cast away from a potentially fun series. Said casting is currently underway, and the drama is aiming for a November premiere on SBS.
