[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "The Ghost Detective" Brings Gaslighting Ghosts in Second Teaser
By Vasia Orion | Published on
We finally get the big revelation about Lee Ji-ah's character in the second teaser released for upcoming horror drama "The Ghost Detective", and the lady is not playing around with her words. Leave your wishes for romance at the door, because it looks like our detective dearest has other things in mind.

For a serious, gruesome video, it opens in a cheeky, hilarious way. We all know that Dramaland makes shipping top priority on a regular basis, and the creators of "The Ghost Detective" clearly know it as well. The whole romantic setup quickly dissipates, as the earpiece put on Jeong Yeo-wool (Park Eun-bin) by Lee Da-il (Choi Daniel) triggers something highly unpleasant.
Terrible images flash through her mind, as we hear Lee Ji-ah's Seon Woo-hye go "You can kill them. It's because of you that they're dead". That is when the mysterious, eerie figure in red appears, but her image does not show on the nearby security camera footage, which amusingly also features the premiere date and time. This confirms her already pretty obvious nature as a spirit.
I'm really curious about the reasons behind her appearance, as well as her moral alignment. While everything is making her look creepy and malevolent, I have a feeling there's more to her than meets the ghost-seeing eye. We'll be finding out when "The Ghost Detective" graces our screens, starting September 5th on KBS 2TV.
