[Orion's Daily Ramblings] The Have Nots Fight the Haves in New Drama "Special Labor Inspector, Mr. Jo"

MBC and writer Kim Ban-di of "Angry Mom" are collaborating once more, and social commentary continues to be their jam. Joined by PD Park Won-gook ("Ruler: Master of the Mask", "Working Mother, Babysitter Father"), they will be taking the fight for justice to the workplace with "Special Labor Inspector, Mr. Jo".

The drama is a social satire about punishing the "haves" of society. It follows Jo Jin-gap, a man who used to be a member of the national judo team, and whose dream of becoming a physical education teacher is dashed when he gets kicked out for his temper. Jin-gap then becomes a civil servant who puts safety first, and works as a labor inspector for the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
According to the production, this is a story aiming to bring catharsis to audiences by showing the counterattack of the "have nots" against the aforementioned "haves". Although it deals with society's tyrants, it's reportedly a pleasant action comedy drama. Worker rights have been a big theme in Dramaland, so this will fit right in, and I hear great things about "Angry Mom".
The premise sounds exciting, and how can I not love a show the literal title of which translates as "Special Labor Inspector Palm-Blast Jo"? Now give me a solid cast, and I'm sold. Jo Jin-gap will kamehameha his way into our hearts this upcoming spring.
