JTBC announced on the 31st that the latest drama "Good Boy" has selected Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun and Oh Jung-se as the main cast.
"Good Boy" is an action investigative drama about former medalists who join the police force in special employment, seeking justice and fighting the world.
Park Bo-gum plays Yoon Dong-joo, who becomes a special forces policeman through the medalist special employment system resurrected after 11 years.
With his natural-born ability to take blows and strong fists, he appears like a comet and wins the gold medal in boxing then lives a second life as a policeman and throws himself out there for justice.
Kim So-hyun plays Ji Han-na, a shooting gold medalist and special forces corporal while Oh Jung-se plays Min Joo-yeong, a Customs and Excise Department level 7 official.
Lee Sang-yi plays Kim Jong-hyeon, a former fencing silver medalist and special forces corporal who became a cop because of an injury. He handles criminals with his police baton like a sword.
Other than them are Heo Sung-tae and Tae Won-seok who plays wrestling bronze medalist and special forces team leader Go Man-sik and discus bronze medalist special team leader Sin Jae-hong.
Characters with diverse backgrounds induce curiosity about the episodes that are about to unfold.
"Good Boy" is a collaboration between director Sim Na-yeon and writer Lee Dae-il-I and heralds catharsis and comfort to viewers who may feel frustration in the real world.
