According to a report by YTN Star on the 1st, Park Hoon has confirmed his appearance in SBS's new drama "Full Count". He will play Jo Dong-hee, the pitching coach of the team 'Stars', and is set to share significant screen time with Kim Rae-won, who plays Hwang Jin-ho, a coach and acting manager of the team.

Previously, Jung Sung-il-I had been offered the role of Jo Dong-hee and was considering it. However, due to various unresolved factors, he ultimately decided not to join the project after discussions with the production team. Park Hoon was later newly cast to fill the vacancy as the lead. With filming scheduled to begin in April, the production moved quickly to secure a replacement actor.

"Full Count" is set in the world of men's professional baseball and depicts the intense competition among coaches. The drama will be directed by Ham Joon-ho, known for works such as "Payback" and "Love Scout". Park Hoon previously worked with the director in "Payback", where he played an elite prosecutor in the special investigations' unit.

Park Hoon made his debut in 2007 through the musical "Oh! While You Were Sleeping" and gained recognition with the drama "Descendants of the Sun". He later drew attention through series like "Memories of the Alhambra" and "Big Mouth", and joined the ranks of million-viewer actors with the film "12.12: The Day".
