According to YTN Star on the 25th, Park Hyung-sik has confirmed his appearance in the movie "Family Force". The film is a comic action story that begins when three generations of a Marine family, a grandfather and father who are former Marines, and a son who is an active-duty Marine, become entangled in an unexpected terror incident.
Park Hyung-sik will play the active-duty Marine son, leading the central narrative. Having gained the nickname 'baby soldier' and risen to stardom through the variety show "Real Men", anticipation is high for how he will portray a Marine in this project.
In the film, he plays the son of Cha Seung-won's character. The two previously showed warm chemistry when Park Hyung-sik appeared as a guest on "Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village 2", making this their first time working together in a scripted production.
Park Hyung-sik debuted in 2010 as a member of the boy group ZE:A and began his acting career with the SBS drama "Dummy Mommy" in 2012. He has since appeared in numerous hit dramas, including "The Heirs", "High Society", "Strong Woman Do Bong-soon", and "Happiness - Drama".
Last year, he received praise for his deeper emotional performance and intense action scenes as Seo Dong-joo in the SBS drama "Buried Hearts". The series concluded with a peak nationwide rating of 15.4% (Nielsen Korea), ranking second among miniseries aired in 2025.
