Park Shin-hye's lead role in "#ALIVE" is likely to continue the screen craze, following Song Ji-hyo, who announced the revival of the theater with "Intruder", Shin Hye-sun, who ranks first in the box office with "Innocence" and Lee Joo-young in "Baseball Girl".
"#ALIVE", which is scheduled to be released on the 24th, recorded a 57.6% overall reservation rate, ranking first with an overwhelming number as of the 23rd, 7PM. Other works in the rankings show a reservation rate of only one digit while "#ALIVE" show more than 50%, confirming keen interest in the movie.
Although things are not back to normal yet, Park Shin-hye is expected to carry on the theater craze that's been led by creditable works since the aftermath of the pandemic COVID-19. Particularly welcome to the screen craze is the continued performances of actresses in various genres, including thrillers and dramas that are not melodrama, raising hopes for the birth of more women-centered films.
Park Shin-hye, who has been widely loved both on and off the screens, returns with "#ALIVE", which is a survival thriller about people stranded alone in their apartments, without data, Wi-Fi, text messages and phone calls all out of control as the undead begin their attacks.
Park Shi-hye plays a survivor named Yoo-bin who is isolated in the middle of the city. Yoo-bin is meticulous and calmly agonizes over how to survive and is said to have completed her character's own color to cope with extreme situations. For the character who survives against the unknown, she showed impressive skills with her passionate performance, such as performing high-level actions herself.
