Park Ye-jin debuts in China with 3D martial arts movie

Actress Park Ye-jin is making her way into the Chinese market with a martial arts movie.

Her management Dabom Entertainment said, "Park Ye-jin is going to take on the role of Queen Huran of Genghis Khan. She is learning horseback riding, martial arts and Inner Mongolian.

With the production cost of 10 billion Yuan (18 billion won), this movie is about a 70-year-old person withstanding a long journey of 2 years to stop the killings of the Genghis Khan and Mongolian army at the beginning of the 13th century.

Boram Entertainment, Chinese Sandong Film Studio and Japanese Tara Content are in on this together. Directed by Chinese Wang Pyeong and the cast includes, Park Ye-jin, Yu Shaoqun, Li Xiaoran and Japanese Hideo Nakaizumi and more.

Park Ye-jin will be going over to Ningxia for the movie on the 26th.
