On the 31st anniversary of the pro-democracy movement on the 18th of May, Kim Yeo-jin wrote "You will not be able to get freedom since 1980, May 18th. You are a slaughterer no matter what you do. Jeon Doo-hwan" on her Twitter.
At this, Park Yong-mo spilled out on his Twitter, "Kim Yeo-jin! What will you say to economy killer Kim, former president? If you are ugly, don't talk **** about anything. An economy killer is the same as killing the whole country" and cussed at her.
He then replied, "Crazy *****" to her and she replied back, "Maybe" like she didn't care.
As his cussing became an issue online, he wrote, "I was personally very angry so I said some stuff. I'm sorry if it caused a commotion".
He continued, "Regardless of supporting or not supporting someone, I am just not happy about the word slaughterer but I want to apologize to everyone but Kim Yeo-jin".
