"Phoenix 2020" has been embroiled in rumors about replacing writers.

The Korean Daily announced on the 28th that writer Lee Yoo-jin-V is discussing quitting the drama because she can't coordinate opinions with the production team.

SBS sources told Star News that they are looking into the facts.

"Phoenix 2020" is a drama about a rich woman and a poor man who married only for love and got divorced, and about what happens when they meet again after their economic situation has been completely reversed.

It is a remake of the original "Phoenix" from 16 years ago and it drew attention as it was written by the original writer Lee Yoo-jin-V. The drama stars Hong Soo-ah, Lee Jae-woo, Seo Ha-jun and Park Young-rin.
