Pop Idol Park Yoo-chun Dropped by Talent Agency

Singer Park Yoo-chun was dropped by his management agency on Wednesday after he tested positive for drug abuse.

C-JeS Entertainment in a statement said, "We trusted Park and waited for the results of the investigation, but we are devastated and decided to end our contract with him after determining that mutual trust can no longer be restored".

The talent mill said Park will "retire" from showbusiness while all his scheduled engagements will be canceled as he awaits the decision of a court of law.

C-JeS did not comment when asked if the decision had been discussed with Park.

Earlier this month, Park told reporters he did not take drugs. But hair samples came back positive, and police in Gyeonggi Province have evidence that Park bought crystal meth three times in February and March of this year and took it five times.

Park bought 1.5 g of crystal meth in total, which is enough to take a few times.
