[Press Release] BTS V Tops 'Summer Concept' Male Idol Poll, Beating Jimin and Jungkook

CHOEAEDOL, an idol fan voting app, announced on July 14 that BTS member V was voted No. 1 in its Image Pick poll 'Which male idol owns the summer concept?', which closed on July 13.

The poll, held on the CHOEAEDOL app through July 13, invited fans to vote for the male idol who best embodies a refreshing summer vibe. Image Pick is one of CHOEAEDOL's signature event formats, running fan votes on seasonal and concept-based themes.

V claimed first place ahead of his fellow BTS members Jimin, who finished second, and Jungkook, who came in third. With BTS members occupying the entire top three, the result once again demonstrated the strength of the group's global fandom.

V recently became the first male K-pop solo artist to surpass 75 million Instagram followers. He was also named the first-ever global ambassador of JINRO, the soju brand of HiteJinro, with a teaser video released on July 9. He is currently meeting fans worldwide through BTS's 'ARIRANG' world tour, which kicked off in April.
