Sehee Jang of CJ ENM emphasized that the global success of K-content is driven by its diverse genres, compelling narratives, and high production quality. She highlighted that collaborations between Korean studios and both global and local streaming platforms have significantly expanded the international reach of Korean content. Standout examples included CJ ENM's drama series "Lovely Runner" and "Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born. Jang noted that these series successfully blend traditional Korean culture with universal themes, earning strong global resonance. She also emphasized that CJ ENM's unique ecosystem linking drama, music, and live events, not only promotes content but also cultivates international fandoms and builds stars who thrive across platforms and markets.
Regarding "LTNS"' Rockie Awards nomination and the challenge of staying true to Korean storytelling while appealing globally, Director Lim Dae-hyeong noted that while cultural differences exist, universal human experiences resonate beyond borders. He emphasized the importance of creating authentic, layered characters to preserve cultural identity while connecting with diverse viewers. Creator Jeon Go-woon added that focusing on fresh, meaningful stories and embracing diversity in content is key. She commended CJ ENM's bold support, which allowed "LTNS"-a project with unconventional themes by first-time creators-to succeed on the global stage.
Meanwhile, CJ ENM marked a milestone at the 2025 Banff Rockie Awards by securing three nominations, the only Asia-based company to do so, underscoring its growing influence in the global TV industry.
