Leading entertainment company CJ ENM announced today that its record-breaking hit series ""Bon Appetit, Your Majesty"" has been named a finalist at the C21 International Drama Awards. The series has been shortlisted in the Comedy Drama Series category, selected from more than 500 entries across 11 categories and voted on by leading scripted commissioners and buyers worldwide.

Produced by Korea's premier scripted studio Studio Dragon, "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" follows Yeon Ji-yeong (Lim Yoona), a perfectionist French chef who unexpectedly finds herself in a royal palace kitchen serving Prince Yeon Hee (Lee Chae-min), a feared tyrant and uncompromising gourmet. The drama reimagines the time-slip romantic comedy genre, blending contemporary humor with historical intrigue and elevating Korean royal cuisine and French gastronomy as central emotional and narrative elements. The chemistry between the two main characters anchors the story with warmth and depth, while polished visuals and cinematic food sequences enhance its global appeal.

Premiering on Korea's No. 1 K-content channel tvN, the series quickly emerged as one of the year's standout hits-debuting at 4.9% and ranking No.1 across all cable and general programming channels in its timeslot. It went on to achieve a peak of 17.1%, ranking among the channel's top-performing weekend drama series.

Globally, "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" has demonstrated exceptional reach through Netflix. After debuting at No. 4 on Netflix's Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) chart, the series rose to No. 2 and ultimately reached No. 1, remaining in the Global Top 10 for 10 consecutive weeks and charting in 79 countries. It also became the first CJ ENM drama to hold the No. 1 position for two consecutive weeks on Netflix's official global rankings, underscoring its widespread international resonance.

The C21 International Drama Awards is an annual awards program run by London-based C21Media that honors excellence in scripted television worldwide. Winners of the C21 International Drama Awards will be announced on December 4 at the International Drama Awards Ceremony, part of Content London 2025.
