Netflix has announced the production and cast of the new series "Paper Man", a crime drama about an overlooked man who makes knock-offs for a living - until he creates the perfect counterfeit bill and is pulled into a dangerous world.

"Paper Man" follows Cha Myeong-jo, a man who works at a company that makes imitation character stickers. Though he's technically the head of his household, at home he's constantly overshadowed by his highly competent wife, who's a judge. However, when Myeong-jo comes to create a counterfeit bill so flawless it can't be distinguished from the real thing, he steps into an unexpected world he never imagined.
Blending the tension of a crime thriller with drama, "Paper Man" explores the value of money, human desire, and the boundaries between what is " real " and " fake " as defined by society - with both humor and bite.
Known for creating high-tension stories with strong characters and propulsive plots, Director Lee Il-hyeong ("Karma", "A Violent Prosecutor") brings his craft to "Paper Man", unraveling a story in which money, desire, and family dynamics all become entangled.
The confirmed cast of "Paper Man" builds anticipation even further. Cho Jung-seok ("Hospital Playlist", "Pilot", "Exit - Movie") stars as Cha Myeong-jo, dynamically portraying the character's transformation from a weary head of household to a person awakened to a dangerous desire. Park Hae-soo ("Squid Game", "Narco-Saints", "Karma") takes on the role of Oh Seung-eop, the First Deputy Director of the Anti-Counterfeiting Division at the Korea Mint - a sharp, relentless investigator who stands in Myeong-jo's way. Claudia Kim ("Gyeongseong Creature", "The Atypical Family", Avengers: Age of Ultron) plays Ko Hye-seok, Myeong-jo's cool-headed wife and elite judge, who's dealing with real dilemmas and family issues beneath the appearance of a perfect life.
Stay tuned for more updates on "Paper Man", an unpredictable crime drama, coming only on Netflix.
