Netflix is ushering in a new era for K-unscripted entertainment at Korea's Unscripted Festival, spotlighting the genre's rapid evolution and growing cultural impact. Kicking off the slate on September 23 is the highly anticipated Crime Scene Zero, a legendary role-playing mystery game show. Every episode will feature a special guest, starting with Park Sung-woong and Joo Hyun-young. In October, the powerhouse competition series Physical: 100 pushes boundaries even further with Physical: Asia, bringing together contestants from eight countries - Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines. The show's global journey doesn't stop there, with new versions set to debut in the U.S. and Italy.

In November, Netflix teams up for the first time with Nah Yung-suk's renowned production crew to bring Three Idiots in Kenya to the platform. The series stars Lee Soo-geun, Eun Ji-won, and Cho Kyuhyun as they embark on a comedic and unpredictable journey across Kenya.

December brings the return of the fierce cooking competition now known as Culinary Class Wars Season 2, following its breakout success on the global stage. Reflecting on these achievements, Kihwan Yoo, Director, Content (Korea), noted that last year, Culinary Class Wars not only captured viewers' attention but also sparked fresh conversations within the food industry. He continued on to say that this achievement, along with Physical: 100 branching out in different territories, signifies more than a success story. They show how content can create cultural impact and deliver new experiences to a broader audience. He also attributed these milestones to the dedication of producers, cast members, and countless staff on set who have never stopped pushing boundaries and who have worked tirelessly to raise the quality of Netflix's shows.

The new year starts strong with the return of fan-favorite Single's Inferno, now entering its fifth season in January 2026 and continuing to grow its devoted global audience. February marks the comeback of Agents of Mystery Season 2, a hybrid adventure and mystery show. Adding to the excitement, it was announced that production has begun on Season 3 of The Devil's Plan from the same acclaimed creator, Jeong Jong-yeon.

Rounding out the slate are fresh takes on the 'guesthouse universe', including Kian's Bizarre B&B Season 2 and Jae-seok's B&B Rules!, both announced with an exclusive peek from the production announcement clip. The response has been overwhelming, with over 55,000 teams applying to be a guest and about 3,500 people interviewed - underscoring Yoo Jae-suk's enduring appeal. Fans can also look forward to the return of Better Late Than Single for a second season, promising more laughs and heartfelt moments.

From mystery and survival to travel, romance, and comedy, Netflix's upcoming unscripted lineup celebrates the innovation and diversity at the heart of K-entertainment. Netflix variety shows will not only continue into new seasons of beloved series but also collaborate with both established and emerging creators to keep experimenting and expanding our storytelling universe.

Stay tuned for a continuous stream of new stories and unforgettable moments, only on Netflix.
