No In-ji (Seo Hyun-jin), an employee at NM (New Marriage), finds herself deeply alone despite her job of living with a "contract husband" every year. Meanwhile, Han Jeong-won (Gong Yoo) enters into this contract marriage in an ironic attempt to preserve his previous marriage. This strange and precarious relationship offers a glimpse into the series' exploration of the complex emotions of characters involved in the "marriage" - love, compassion, obsession, desire, loneliness, and emptiness - and portrays the various depths of their relationships.

In the poster, No In-ji is seen entering Han Jeong-won's home with a striking trunk, set against a backdrop of a spiral staircase and a cold, glamorous atmosphere. The teaser trailer introduces the "contract couple" embarking on a loveless marriage, guided by a manual. It also hints at the mysterious relationship between Han Jeong-won and his ex-wife, leaving viewers curious about their past. As they grapple with their roles and the secrets that bind them, what truths will emerge from this setup?

"The Trunk" premieres on November 29, only on Netflix.
