Production of Director Lee Chang-Dong's Movie "Burning" Falls Through

On November 16, director Lee Chang-dong gave the news to his staff that the production had fallen through and that the movie would not be made.

This would have been the first time in seven years that Lee would be in the director's seat.

This movie garnered much attention with its top star line up of Yoo Ah-in and Gang Dong-won.

This, however, is not the first time Lee's movie has fallen through. He decided not to go through with a movie back in 2013 that would have featured popular actors such as Won Bin and Sul Kyung-gu.

Many fans believed that this time he would be able to successfully begin production for this movie. Unfortunately, fans have been let down again.
