In the bottom of the fourth inning, PSY staged a surprise show. As the music video for his latest single "Gentleman" was aired on the large screen, he appeared near third base and entertained over 40,000 spectators by dancing to his new hit song. Some enthusiastic fans got up and joined in.
After the Dodgers sealed a 6-2 victory, PSY went over to Ryu and gave him a hug after the star pitcher had just sealed his third win of the season, giving up two runs and striking out 12 over six innings.
Ryu took off his jersey and gave it to Psy, who handed over his sunglasses in exchange. PSY then headed to the Dodgers' locker room to greet Ryu's teammates. Dodgers' shortstop Hanley Ramirez uploaded a picture of himself with PSY on his Twitter account.
After the game, Ryu said, "PSY's presence gave me a lot of encouragement [to win]".
