Psy Nominated for TIME's Most Influential List

Rapper PSY was nominated as a candidate for Time's 100 most influential people in the world.

The magazine last Thursday started online voting for 153 candidates, with the rapper nominated for his global hit "Gangnam Style".

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife, and Chinese President Xi Jinping are among the other candidates. The only other South Korean in the running is Kwon Oh-hyun, vice chairman of Samsung Electronics.
