An official from Pyo Ji-hoon agency's artist company told NewsN that he is "reviewing after receiving an offer" in the new drama "True Lessons".
"True Lessons" is a newly adapted work based on a webtoon of the same name, borrowing the idea of the School Rights Protection Bureau, a virtual government agency, to contain a message about restoring school authority.
Previously, the original webtoon was embroiled in controversy over racism and misogyny in some episodes. In this regard, director Hong Jong-chan said, "I am aware of the criticism and concern opinions regarding some of the recent episodes in the original. I will do my best to make the drama with a more refined perspective with a sense of responsibility".
Actor Kim Moo-yeol has confirmed his role as Na Hwa-jin, the main character of the Korea Teachers' Rights Protection Bureau. Actor Jin Ki-joo is also considering making an appearance.
Meanwhile, Pyo Ji-hoon played Jeon Eun-ho, a new lawyer on the divorce team, in the SBS drama "Good Partner" last year.
