Pyo Ye-jin to Replace Lee Naeun in "Taxi Driver"

Actress Pyo Ye-jin is replacing Lee Naeun who quit the SBS TV drama "Taxi Driver" due to school violence controversies.

SBS TV announced on the 10th that Pyo Ye-jin has been cast for the new Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver" as Go Eun.

Lee Naeun, a member of the group April was in the middle of filming the role but suspicion of bullying among members and school violence called for a change in the cast.

"Taxi Driver" is the story of a deluxe taxi driver who gets revenge on behalf of his passengers. It is based on an original webtoon of the same name.

Pyo Ye-jin takes on the role of Go Eun, the youngest member of the Rainbow Taxis team and a skilled hacker.

Pyo Ye-jin starred in dramas "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop", "Fight For My Way", "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" and more.

Meanwhile, "Taxi Driver" comes up after the SBS TV Friday-Saturday drama "The Penthouse 2" on the 9th of April.
