Park Min-young is starring in the new KBS 2TV drama "Queen for 7 Days".
Her first period drama was "Sungkyunkwan Scandal". She took on the role of Kim Yoon-hee, an intelligent girl who earned a living for her family. She didn't let the fact that she was a woman stop her from getting into Sungkyunkwan and wore a hat string and uniform instead of a pretty dress and fancy accessories.
Park Min-young was lovely although she was a man. She didn't let go of her hopes and dreams although she was poor and Kim Yoon-hee was wise.
In that sense, "Queen for 7 Days" is a big deal for Park Min-young as she's appearing as a mature women in the middle of romance.
Park Min-young takes on the role of Sin Chae-kyeong, the unlucky queen who was queen for the shortest number of days in Joseon history. The poster of "Queen for 7 Days" released on the 18th show Park Min-young in the pose of an elegant queen.
Sin Chae-kyeong was born with tremendous fate and experienced the most tragic love of all time. Sin Chae-kyeong is a character that has to carry the weight of the drama and Park Min-young is expected to do all this.
"Queen for 7 Days" is written by Choi Jin-yeong and directed by Lee Jeong-seob and it begins on the 31st of May.
