Rain to Debut in Hollywood in Wachowski Film

Korean pop star Rain will make his debut in Hollywood in the action-adventure "Speed Racer" by the Wachowski brothers.
Rain will play a supporting role as a race car driver who is a link between two main characters.
Andy and Larry Wachowski, creators of "The Matrix" trilogy, are scheduled to begin shooting the film in Germany this June.
Warner Brothers studio plans to release it in May 2008.
Rain was recently named the number one celebrity in a Time magazine online poll of the world's most influential people.
The 25-year-old singer-slash-actor played a lead role in the Korean film "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK", directed by Park Chan-wook last year.
