Rookie Ju Yeon-jae in "Makjang Level UP"

New actor Ju Yeon-jae will star in a supporting role in the short-form drama "Makjang Level UP".

"Makjang Level UP" is a romantic comedy about last-minute events that Ha Jin-sol (Park Si-yeon), a woman who is living a normal life, experiences. In the drama, the main character will play the role of a police officer to revitalize the play.

Ju Yeon-jae said, "Now, I will show you how I grow step by step with the mindset of drawing my first picture", adding, "I want to become an actor who is constantly loved for a long time".

"Starting with this work, actor Ju Yeon-jae will meet more characters with his own colors", the agency Morning Star Company said, expressing expectations.

Ju Yeon-jae is from Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, and entered Chosun University in 2016 as a dance major and contemporary dance major, then transferred to the Dong-A Broadcasting Arts University in 2018 and began his acting activities in earnest.

He has built up filmography by appearing in supporting roles in the 2023 commercial film "The K-Pop Story", SBS drama "Connection", and "Spring of Youth".

"Makjang Level UP" will be released on 7 OTT channels in August.
