Rookie Lee Kang-ji to Star in "Melancholia" With Lee Do-hyun

Rookie actor Lee Kang-ji is starring in the new tvN drama "Melancholia".

He will star in "Melancholia" as Baek Seung-yoo's (Lee Do-hyun) friend Lee Hyeon-jae.

"Melancholia" is a drama about a story more beautiful than mathematics, which goes beyond conventional wisdom and prejudice of math teachers and math geniuses, set in the background of a private high school, a hotbed of preferential corruption. It stars Lim Soo-jung and Lee Do-hyun.

Lee Kang-ji's role of Lee Hyeon-jae is an optimistic character with positive personality, likes music and dance, and has a hip charm. He is always on Seung-yoo's side as his best friend.

"Melancholia" premieres latter this year.
