Actor Ryu Hyun-kyung will join the "Cheer Up".

According to his agency H& Entertainment on the 24th, Ryu Hyun-kyung was cast in the SBS TV drama "Cheer Up", which airs in the second half of this year.
"Cheer Up" is the story of young people gathered in the failing college cheering squad, leaving behind a brilliant history. Ryu Hyun-kyung plays the role of Sin Ji-yeong, the deputy director of the Ministry of Education. She has a sharp personality in controlling the cheering squad and pushing ahead with the school's budget. In fact, as a former cheering squad member, she cares about the cheering squad more than anyone else and secretly helps.
Director Han Tae-seob, who co-directed SBS TV "Stove League" (2020), and writer Cha Hae-won, who wrote SBS TV "VIP" (2019), joined forces. It depicts the excitement of the first love and the joy of the cheering stage against the backdrop of the cheering squad of Yeonhui University. Earlier, actors Han Ji-hyun, Bae In-hyuk, Kim Hyun-jin-I, Jang Gyuri, Lee Eun-saem, and Yang Dong-geun confirmed their appearances.
Meanwhile, Ryu Hyun-kyung will appear on tvN's drama project "O'PENing - Pick Up the Prize Money", which will air on the 17th of next month.
