Actor Ryu Jun-yeol and Lee Hyeri of girl group Girl's Day are dating, Ryu's management agency admitted Wednesday after an internet news site broke the news.

The two shared the spotlight in the popular TV series "Reply 1988" in 2015. In the series, Ryu's character was in an unrequited love with Lee Hyeri's character.

Ryu made his debut in a short film in 2014 and became an instant star through "Reply 1988". Since then he has appeared in hit dramas and films including "The King" and "A Taxi Driver".

Lee Hyeri entered showbiz in 2010 as a member of Girl's Day and made her acting debut in "Reply 1988".
