Ryu Si-won Signs Deal with Japan's Avex

Actor and singer Ryu Si-won has signed a contract with major Japanese recording label Avex.

The company, which has worked with other top entertainers such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro and M-Flo of Japan and Korea's TVXQ, is expected to help boost Ryoo's popularity in Japan even further.

Having recently finished shooting his new album cover and promotional events in Japan, Ryoo said he is excited about releasing his 11th single album, his first work with Avex.

Ryoo has enjoyed a successful career in Japan over the past six years, with all of his 19 albums there reaching the top 10 on the Oricon charts. He has performed more than 80 concerts across the country, drawing some 500,000 viewers.
