Seo Yea-ji's First Public Appearance in 2 Years

With actress Seo Yea-ji making her first public appearance since the controversy over her private life, her next film has yet to be decided.

Seo Yea-ji attended a photo session event of a global cosmetics brand at a department store in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 23rd. Seo Yea-ji appeared in front of reporters after a long time since the controversy over her privacy through the event.

Seo Yea-ji suffered from various suspicions about her ex-lover Kim Jung-hyun in April 2021, including gaslighting, school violence, and forgery of her academic background. She continued her acting career with tvN's drama "Eve", which aired from June to July of the following year, but the drama production presentation was unusually canceled and no promotional interview was conducted.

Seo Yea-ji, who had been quiet since appearing in "Eve", newly joined agency Sublime in June and announced a new start. Sublime includes Song Kang-ho, Ko So-young, Tiffany Young of Girls' Generation, EXID Ahn Hee-yeon, and Girls' Day Lee Hyeri.

Seo Yea-ji also updated her personal photos through her Instagram account until recently, showing her willingness to communicate with her fans. With this cosmetic brand event, she resumed her 'public activities' and started her full-fledged return.

Some speculate that Seo Yea-ji might be returning to her main job soon. However, an official from Sublime told Star News on Tuesday that she has no other plans to work on anything yet. "Seo Yea-ji is going to a cosmetics event that invites celebrities", the official said.

Meanwhile, boy group SEVENTEEN members S.Coups and Hoshi, actors Lee Yoo-mi and Ki Eun-se also attended the cosmetics brand photo session event including Seo Yea-ji.
