Shim Eun-kyung's tears of joy at the BAA

Actress Shim Eun-kyung had the honor of winning the Best Actress in Films.

Shim Eun-kyung's name was called out as Best Actress at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 27th at the Kyung Hee University.

She said, "Thank you. I didn't think I would win anything since I was on the list with many other talented actors and actresses. I am so happy just to be here and I didn't even prepare a speech. I am so nervous. I don't know if this is a trophy for me".

"I worked so hard on "Miss Granny" and I had fun filming with the staff. I am so grateful for this award. Mom, thank you for supporting me all these years, see you at home".

Other candidates for Best Actress were: Jeon Do-yeon from "Way Back Home", Kim Hee-ae from "Thread of Lies", Uhm Ji-won from "Hope" and Moon Jeong-hee from "Hide and Seek".
