On the 26th, n.CH Entertainment said, "Shin Myung-sung will appear in tvN's new drama "The Heavenly Idol"".
"The Heavenly Idol" (directed by Park So-yeon-I, written by Lee Cheon-geum, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Pitapat Studio Highground) is based on the web novel of the same title, and deals with a little-known celebrity idol who is possessed by the spirit of Lembrary, a powerful godly figure and becomes an idol overnight. Actors Kim Min-kyu, Go Bo-gyeol, and Lee Jang-woo have confirmed their appearance.
Shin Myung-sung plays Hwang Tae-in, the main vocalist of the idol group Wild Animal. Hwang Tae-in is a member with outstanding singing skills and a sweet tone, and he is a person who works harder than anyone else but shows no signs of becoming popular.
Shin Myung-sung, who made his debut with the web drama "On the Campus", met with viewers with "The Heavenly Idol" after appearing on Netflix's "Extracurricular". As he is an actor with a warm mask and infinite potential, expectations from prospective viewers are rising for his performance in "The Heavenly Idol".
